It’s hard to believe but we are staring down at the end of another year, with a new one right around the corner. For people who are very fashion-conscious and mindful of current or upcoming trends, we thought that we would peek ahead just a little bit to get a glimpse of what beauty tips and tricks will be popular this coming year. After consulting with some of the leading experts in the field we narrowed it down to five must-try trends.
Streamlined Skin Care Regimens
Who wants to spend any more time with oils, creams, face-washes, or anything else that we have to use on a daily basis to keep our skin healthy and vibrant? With few exceptions, the answer is “nobody”. Not only that, but there are actually many beauty experts that advocate spending less time at the sink and in front of the mirror, especially in the mornings.
This is due to the fact that more and more skincare products are introducing lines that perform several essential functions in one formula. Facial moisturizers that also provide sun protection are one example, but there are a growing number of health and beauty products that are becoming multi-purpose. Consider investing in these to make the most of your morning routine.
Eyelash Extensions
This is one of our favorites. There is nothing like the look of bold, pronounced lashes when it comes to standing out from a crowd. Appropriate for work or play, eyelash extensions can last up to two months when properly cared for and maintained. They eliminate the need to painstakingly apply mascara every morning, and when you couple that with the time saved from a streamlined skincare routine, you won’t know what to do with all of the free time on your hands!
Organic and All-Natural Products
Not only are people moving towards more efficient and multi-purpose products, but they are also opting for more natural choices as well. Organic products, green products, and almost any other products which don’t use chemicals or additives are rapidly rising in popularity. Even beauty companies that for years have been offering artificially manufactured products are having to adjust their marketing and production strategies.
A Full Body Glow
Something that was once reserved for Hollywood A-listers adorning the red carpet, body bronzers and tanners are primed for a serious mainstream breakout. It is such a luxurious and warm look (and relatively simple), it makes you wonder why it took so long to find its way from the stars to the rest of us.
Nude/Moist Lips
It used to be unthinkable that anyone would let their lips be their own natural shade. If we weren’t stepping out in a bold red for a night on the town or having a nice, casual dinner with a friend while wearing our favorite autumn shade then we were underdressed. But now nude is in, along with a little moisture from a wet-look gloss or balm.
