It is strange that few people have realized the lack of logic in this statement. Trimming your hair has no effect on the speed with which your hair grows. In fact, your hair grows at a constant rate via the hair follicles in your head.

You can change the speed at which your hair grows but cutting it won’t make a difference.

Trimming your hair is great for keeping your hair in check. While trimming may not improve the speed at which your hair grows, it does allow you to form your hair into a nice shape.

However, it does not cause your hair strands to grow faster.

Trimming your hair is also important to prevent split ends. Your hair can split at the end and become quite weak. Cutting these portions off will prevent them from damaging the rest of your hair.

As the weeks go by, you’ll start to notice the difference between your old hair and the hair that has grown since you started using supplements. Once the healthier hair is long enough, you can get the rest cut off so that all of your hair is the same thickness and strength.

Shampooing My Hair Daily Makes My Hair Fall Out

The fear of shampoo comes mostly from the hair that ends up clogging up your drain after a shower. A lot of people assume that when they use too much shampoo, it causes their hair to fall out and go down the drain.

The truth is that we all lose hair on a daily basis. Your hair controls itself by releasing a certain number of hairs every day. However, new strands of hair grow in their place just as quickly, assuming you don’t have a hair loss problem.

When you see hairs collecting in the drain, that just means that you’ve washed them off your scalp. Those hairs were already loose before you even got into the shower. In fact, if you don’t shampoo your hair often enough, those hairs will sit on your scalp and cause further oil buildup.

That being said, you don’t need to use shampoo every day. Twice a week is often enough. You should rinse your hair with warm water on a daily basis to wash out these loose strands of hair.
